Damn it, it was one thing keeping it from Arthur, I endured not telling Morgana through gritted teeth, but why not Gwen? That reveal could have been amazing and Gwen would have been so supportive and Merlin really needed more friends like that. Ones in the know, especially after losing Lancelot. Thank you for giving the dream some life!

That was beautifully written, I love stories which show Gwen and Merlin as best friends; I always thought their friendship was one of the most important in the series and loved the idea of the knights all trying to be her best friend

I wholeheartedly agree with you. The Merlin/ Gwen reveal would have made things more Interesting. He would have freely used his magic around her and protected them better. They didn't handling the reveal well
