Your writing is lovely and amazing. Your characterisations are brillaint, and you write their relationships beautifully; everyone plays well off everyone else, and you keep all of their voices different and discernable - which can't be easy with a group that big. Everything feels like it could actually have happened, and I have loved all of it! You remind me a bit of Terry Pratchett and his Discworld series. This entire conglomiration of little stories has made my heart extremely happy, and I think its one of my very favourite Hobbit fics out there. Thank you so much for writing and sharing such a wonderful, lovely, beautiful and amazing thing. You are awesome!

The line 'Sometimes, Bilbo thinks that the collected sense of the line of Durin would barely fit a small casserole dish' is not only the BEST (and mosy hobbity) description of the line of Durin EVER, but it also made me laugh so loud that I startled my dog, who is mostly deaf!
I loved Ori's lesson in blackmail!
Fili and Kili are idiots - but I'm glad they have more sense than I thought they did!

This was hilarious and I love it! Gandalf is worryingly good at pushing Bilbo to act like a foolish Took. (Gandalf should have been banned from complaining about Tooks at all; I blame most of it on Gandalf himself).

This chapter was ADORABLE! OH MY GOODNESS! For the sake of the ducklings it's probably better that they are being raised by a farmer, but its a shame Bilbo couldn't take at least one with him (and one for Ori too). I love the idea of all the dwarves being sick and grumbly together!
