I was thinking that as lovely that was that America went through almost the whole repertuar of what to do to show affection to someone via touch it was kind of much for a one evening. I mean if Japan really is so foreign of the subject that he seemed to be it he would have been too overload because all happening at once. Those lessons should have divided over longer time period. And one thing at a time. Today caressing cheek, tomorrow or next week nose nuzzling and so on.

This was sweet nevertheless. And I understand this was meant to be a oneshot so it's fine. And even so considering the ending and that dark bit of history they share. That being the background and culminating point to make Japan do all those loving gestures back... it works. Really well. If the ending would have been different, I would have disagreed but still thought this fic is quite sweet.

K-Kawaii! O/O This is so adowable! Alfred trying to teach Kiku how to show affection was just too cute. They are both in character as far as I can tell, and the descriptions of their interactions are on spot. Didn't catch any errors, either, and it was a cute-and-funny relationship being formed throughout it ("Like a kitty!"). I'm definitely adding this to my favourite list so I can melt with one of my top pairings when I'm sad. I wanna squeal but mah dad is too close by, LOL. This is awesome! (Who am I kidding, THIS! IS! AMERIPAN!)
