I know what you mean about this having serious potential as a chapter fic - even as I read it I was thinking that, it felt too rushed and skimmed over in places for what could have had a lot more build up and immersion in this AU world
still, I liked it, even though the ending got under my skin somehow

I LOVED this fanfiction! The story was awesome, I loved the characters and the kiss at the end as well! I'd love to see what happens after this like or maybe what everyone says when Ran tells them what happens. XD Hakuba and Hattori would agree for once! Hakuba really hates Kaito, right? And like.. Sorry I will just stop talking! :P but I just want you to know I looooved this fanfiction! It was very interesting and hilarious too!

I do agree that the end was rushed, but hey, what can you do when you lose interest? I didn't notice a huge amount of descriptions, though, so that wasn't an issue. I wouldn't say it was extremely good, but it wasn't bad, either.

Well, you could always make another story with the same idea, like this is a vague plotline for the real story. Anywho, looking forward to more!

It may have taken me a while to read it (ok so a long while, it's been busy) but it was completely worth my time. This is no where near as bad as you say. It makes me feel like falling in love, I'd say you succeeded in writing a pretty decent oneshot.
