I cannot believe I haven't reviewed this piece yet because this is very beautifully written and I cannot express how much I adore this! First fanfiction, you said, but you definitely aren't a writing noob. Keep writing, and stay awesome :) I love angst, no slash and epic friendship fics and you do write them extremely well :)

I love all the 'blue' talk. Did not know that about bluebells - some of my very favourite flowers.

You were amazing, as always. I can honestly say that I have never read anything by you that was even mediocre...it has all been WONDERFUL! It is no secret that I love Mrs. Hudson and here you have perfectly portrayed her. I can hear her talking as I read and you moved me to tears on more than one occasion (which, as my friend Jessica can attest to) is a very hard thing to do. :')

I am literally crying as I write this. That was...I can't find the words. I've always thought of Mrs. Hudson like Sherlock's and John's mother. I loved that you snuck in the fact that she would be the only one that Sherlock could open up enough to cry to. Before and besides John. You paint such a beautiful picture with words . Thank you for sharing this with us.
