My review just posted for ch 5 mentioned you poss incorrectly spelling Kono's last name but it might be a name of another character so if so ignore my correction. Confused by the similar names :-)

Love this story - one major correction though: Kono's last name is Kalakaua and I think you referred to it as Kamaka all through this chapter. :-)

Another great story. Side note: was thinking of all the times your OC Dr. Ramirez treated Danny. This image popped in my head of Danny on the beach with Grace... the ohanra s around too. My image was of Danny wih his various scars from all those injuries. Then I wondered what might be going thru his ohana's heads as they watched him. Kind of a tribute to Danny. Since your stories inspired this image/idea, I wanted to share with you. If the muses find this compelling , I'd love to read what you and those saber toothed bunnies might come up with. If not, that's cool too. If other writer's are inspired, that's great too.

Ya kinda wanna feel sorry for Simon, but on the other hand he is in a bed of his own making.

Well, it was either Chin and Kono go get some news to bring back to Steve, or he was gonna hijack the nearest wheelchair and go find out himself.

I wonder why it is that we all have Steve and Danny pegged that neither would be able to rest until they had seen each other. At least Dr. Tyler was wise enough to remedy that.

A very nice wrap up! I don't know what the original ending was so I can't compare but I certainly have no complaints about this one!

I especially liked the combination of Simon's salvation and Kamekona's resolution. An ingenious plot twist that was very enjoyable to read. I'm sad, though that another of your stories has ended. I hope there will be another one coming up soon... :)
