When I saw you'd done a National Treasure fic, I just about cheered. And you didn't disappoint. I could totally hear the characters' voices - and you did a really good job getting into Riley's head. I particularly loved the account of his first meeting with Abigail. :)

Oh, I adore this. I tend to be skeptical (no pun intended) of really short fics unless I already know the author, but boy, am I glad I decided to give this one a shot. The beginning was absolutely brilliant, with the comments on how old they look - Riley much younger than he really is, and Ben much older than he really is. I love the idea that some people would think they were father and son; that had never occurred to me before. Even better was the description of Abigail as "ageless," and the rapid succession of words that they had thought of to describe her, ending rapidly with "goodbye." Brilliance.

I love how Riley's putting his nosiness to use in trying to get Ben and Abigail together, and how he points out that Ben has done a million crazier things than this. And Ben's self-doubt is totally believable: "So I'm not sure if I can do thist right, that's what!" But if anyone's pushy enough to make sure this happens, it's Riley, and it does. I love it. Well done.

I haven't really tried much National Treasure fanfic before, but this one I enjoyed very much. I hope to be seeing more from you.
