| The Historian chapter 5 . 11/27/2019 Although it's too late to tell ya this, but most sailors back then didn't learn to swim. Especially not pirates. Fear of water? Perhaps. Mostly because no one plans to fall off the boat. At least, they don't believe they will survive after falling in. The only reason they would be off the boat and in the water is if a wave knocked them off during a storm. The chances of them getting back on the ship during a storm were slim. |
