This was a nice read; I really liked tge dynamic between Tobirama and Izuna.

This was really beautiful yet so sad... I really liked how you portrayed Izuna's and Tobirama's friendship and I think if things had gone differently, it would've been like that. But it was still heart clenching to watch how miserable Izuna seemed yet Tobirama just wanted help his friend...so much feelings...!

I love this. The interaction between Hiruzen and Tobirama is adorable; both of them are perfect. Great job.

This was quite interesting! To be honest, Sarutobi is the Hokage I find least interesting out of the five, but he's to me much more interesting a character as a child. As the lens by which we are shown Tobirama and Izuna's relationship, he is also very interesting, and perceptive for such a young boy. (Talented too, to be able to modify a jutsu on the fly)

Tobirama and Izuna's relationship was well-portrayed, as a less acrimonious rivalry than the one between their brothers. Tobirama's grudging concern for Izuna's well-being and Izuna's refusal to be coddled was firmly in-character. Very well done, overall.

I like this AU. Since the recent chapters on the founders I can't help but wonder what would have happened if the war between the clans went a bit differently. Hiruzen is cute, which is weird considering I know the character as an old man. If you continue in this verse it would be interesting to see team Tobirama dynamics and whomever Danzo was placed with as a team. I'm always a sucker for writers who rethink established ideas.

This is adorable. I like the AU you're building on, and I hope you add more stories to it.

Ok, I really love this story. The dynamic between the three is great, with Izuna's gradual acknowledgment of Hizuren's abilities to Hizuren's personality itself. I like that he, Hizuren, is capable but still has a desire to learn, also he's an eight-year-old smart aleck, and weren't we all?

I also really like how you hashed out Izuna's personality, his pride at not wanting to be less than whole and his inability to cope with it. Tobirama does not understand, but then they come from two different families and Tobirama's seems to be a bit more diverse in its skill set. Doesn't their name mean 'the clan that knows 1000 things' or at least its implied somehow? That probably means that there are other ways to become "whole" as opposed to the Uchiha where power is denominated by the strength of their eyes. Anyways, the way you established the difference between the two clans without hitting readers over the head is great. Although to attribute all of that to being Uchiha would be wrong. Part of it is just Izuna's pride in what he was, something that he doesn't think he could be again.
