Great story! I'm so happy with the ending and it's been great to read this story over the last few years. I wouldn't love to see some bits with Klaroline while Grayson was young and some with Elise being young.

This was THE BEST story, I've loved every update with all the ups and downs Klaus and Caroline have gone through.

Nice epilogue. Their story has been so long with a lot of drama. and tension in between. I'm so glad they were able to escape Mystic Falls and start their life as a family in New York.

Lamo When I realized this was updated on my birthday I feel really conflicted on this chapter. I get the whole ‘unconventional’ thing and I liked it, but I guess I hoped that after everything they’ve been through Caroline would be more secure on her place next to Klaus (because based on what I read it was Klaus making the most changes and sacrifices). I’m not saying that she HAD to marry Klaus, but the fact that they didn’t marry earlier because SHE was continuously reluctant about taking that next step with him made Klaus seemed like he was being dragged around. Idk that’s just how I felt. I just feel that marriage is a big part of solidifying a relationship and Caroline not doing that doesn’t speak well of her commitment to Klaus, and shows that even after everything they’ve been through and all the changes and times he put himself out there for her didn’t prove anything. Also throwing in Klaus previous womanizing ways as a reason for her insecurities just doesn’t seem like a good thing to do, because A) they were in his past and B) he proves time and time again how serious he was about Caroline. But overall I really liked this chapter and I can’t wait for you to continue to expand this universe! If you do decide to do the Drabbles could you do one of them saying vows to each other (not getting married, just private vows between the two) and maybe why and how Caroline decided to tell Klaus that if they were still together in 20 years they would get married (which again, I don’t understand her insecurities since they seemed to know the place they held in each other’s life’s when they got back together. What would be the reasons for her to think they wouldn’t be together in 20 years when she seemed pretty sure and clear about their statues).

I loved it! I think it‘s very realistic that they didn‘t marry right away, but I am glad they did in the end :D

Wow, I cant believe its over, this story was been a companion and distraction from real life all these years. Its bitersweet to see it end but Im so happy at the same time, that you never gave up and gave kc the ending they deserved! I would definitely like to read more glimpses of this universe but I will also be here for hopefully more stories in the future! Thx for writing

omg that was so beautiful you should do when they first move to New York,Caroline’s fertility issues and being pregnant and giving birth to Elise,all the times Klaus proposed to Caroline,Grayson struggling when he was growing up,their after wedding smut and honeymoon,and their first fight there’s so much it’s hard to just pick a couple lol this is hands down of the best klaroline fics

Or what exactly happened with Grayson to make his snap and go downhill so quickly! You touched on some great topics here! Grateful to have stumbled upon this gem as well as heart shaped glasses!
