The doctor could be more truthfull and this won’t happen why he didn’t tell him the whole story

Ohhh, seeing 9 and 10 and loosing them not knowing the truth, of course he denies 11. Ouch. Poor them.

It's so simple, yet sad. Kinda on the verge of tears right now. :( I don't know why I read this when I knew it didn't have a happy ending, but I did and I don't regret it one bit.

This is quite an interesting story. xD

Well it was never meant to last, after all, the Doctor never said a word and neither did Harry and every relationship needs some sort of meaningful communication in order to continue. If the Doctor wanted to continue him and Harry's relationship he should've explained the regenerations. Since he didn't Harry cant be blamed. Two of his loves died months after knowing them and they all died in the same way. They went off without ever saying goodbye, died and then a new man who was so painfully familiar shows up. The new man eventually goes off without saying a word and dies. Then a new man shows up. And well. No. And the Doctor accepted it. Didn't explain or try to win Harry back. He didn't fight for the heart of his broken love...
By the way, this is not to say Harry isn't at fault either. He never said anything to the Doctor either. Didn't share his past (lack of communication!) and when the Doctor left Harry didnt go mad trying to find him. He tried to love again (without mourning 'Charles' really) but after John. Well, Harry's always been rather sacrificial what with his walk-to-death in the 7th book so him taking their deaths personal and not wanting to get into another 'doomed' relationship. Its perfectly expected and horribly in character for both. /
I wonder how Rose worked into this and if Jack will ever find out about Harry.
It would be an interesting sequel to this, maybe in the doctors perspective?
