sequel please. I wish Ziva & Tim would treat & respect Tony

I really hated that show when they all left Tony out of the loop and then expected him to go with Ziva. Tony should have refused since it had nothing to do with NCIS and reminded Gibbs and Vance that is was Ziva's personal vendeta and that she has no proof. He should also have told Vance and Gibbs that if they contintued that he would be reporting them all to SecNav.

they did not betray tony, it had nothing to do with him, and tony had no idea tim was involed.

This is exactly how I felt Tony should feel. I mean, really, 'Waiting for the right time'. Seriously? It's like the show writers are demeaning Tony intentionally, despite the amazing guy he is, both as a human and as an agent. And then they pack him off with 'Ziver' to Berlin? And he's okay with it? Wow. That's epic.
Back to your story, you've brought out the self-sacrificing, terribly giving, over-analyzing, lovable idiot that our favorite SFA can be, perfectly!
Be More Myself is one of my most favorite fics of all time! Hopefully you'll do a lot more of Tony fics which bring out the 'enigma' in him!

I hated that once again Tony was left out of the loop. It reminded me of Boxed In where Ziva didn't invite him to the team dinner and he is part of the team. Even after he was in the hotel room and let Ziva go knowing that he might not make it out of there alive and this is how she thanks him?
As for the Moneypenny's review Tony was ordered to not tell anybody about his undercover job and Jeanne. It wasn't like he was doing it because he didn't want them to know. It was because he was undercover and The Director told him not to tell anybody. Just like he was ordered not to tell anybody about the other undercover job he did for the Sec Nav. It wasn't like he was keeping them out of the loop because he wanted to. There's a difference because both times he was ordered too. They just did it because they wanted to. I highly doubt that they would of told Tony before he found them. It's just like McGee to be all smug because he got one on Tony just like in Boxed In with his smug smile because part of the team wasn't there and it was Tony.

I wish that Tony is working for a third party... maybe after he discovers them in the hotel.. and then Gibbs is all.. 'yeah I knew'. Somewhere in there, Tony comes off as being apart from the whole group. I had the impression that Leon was trying to lure him over to their side when he offered him to sit at his desk.
Then... spoilers for Berlin...
Even though he went to berlin and helped capture Yaneev(?)... Tony didn't break anywhere near as many laws as the rest of them.
I've felt all along, that what people see as jealousy.. can also be seen as Tony being suspicious and investigating her.
So, to my thinking... he could be working for Tom Morrow... (i wish).
That wish allows me hope then..that he did not forgive them.. but that he is 'undercover' and is trying to hide his suspicions from them. And while I'd hate to admit it... I'm afraid he will stop trusting Gibbs too. OR...

Gibbs is in on it with Tony... which is why Gibbs split up ziva and mcgee.
This arc is more suspenseful than last year!

It was weird. I do agree on that. And untill I heard Tims voice I had no idea that he was involved in it. Ziva going after Bodner wasnt a question anyone had to ask me, thats basically common knowledge. Everybody knows that she was going to do that or something to avenge her fathers death. And with the latest episode(which I just watched) ending the way it did. I'm interested where that will go! Think that a lot of fanfiction will pop up about that one. Wasn't at all what I expected to happen, hoped for some more action and not the non-action we got. Untill the end of course...

I'm so glad you wrote this. I was so irritated with the writers who once again threw Tony under the bus. Then today the are holding hands and making googily eyes at each other... Seriously? Thanks for backing Tony up here. I know it says the end, but I would love to see Tony & Gibbs talk about this...

I really thought that it was cool that McGee was finally in the loop. Tony had a right to be mad, but its not like he's never kept a secret from Ziva, and especially Tim.

On the flip side, I really like this story! Good style of writing, nicely eloquent but still Tony. Great work!

I think you nailed Tony here. I was very unhappy with Ziva and McGee as well and I guess a little frustrated with Tony at first. But his willingness to help his "friends" and teammates in spite of everything makes him a bigger person than they are, in my opinion. But I don't think it means he wasn't truly hurt, and I think you've expressed that very well.
