Sugoi, I really liked this piece. You did a wonderful job on it. And I don't know a whole lot either but you have implemented the basic information perfectly. Some have no clue to what a Zamboni is, let alone the importance of it. I honestly think that you should continue this one.

I nearly swooned when Zoro tricked Sanji into a date, and when he asked Sanji to cook for him forever. I hope this does become a two-shot because I'd like to see their relationship develop. I'll be looking forward to updates! :D

Can I just say I read this a while ago, but never actually bothered my arse to get round to reviewing it. For that, I apologise. I'm a bit lazy. I have to say my knowledge of hockey is absolute bollocks, as well, so I can't really comment on the accuracy of your writing regarding that particular story element.

Regardless of the above, what do I have to say about your writing?

Lovely. I mean, it's descriptive, it holds up the story, tells us what the character is feeling, immerses the reader and puts across the character's speech well. It's not too descriptive like bordering on information overload and it's definitely not lacking description. I'd say your writing is just right when it comes to description and the like.

Your writing is just well laid out. Something that an author deserves compliments for.

I have to say, for an AU, you hold up the personalities of these two babies incredibly well. I mean, some people take some literary license when taking the characters to an AU setting, but I think you did a brilliant job of maintaining their original personalities. Wouldn't be Zoro and Sanji without a few bits of banter.

I like the development of their relationship here. I mean, it actually develops pretty well considering the length of the one-shot.

I'd definitely be up for reading another chapter to this AU, if you were considering doing a two-shot.

All in all, a job well done.

wait so I was reading this for like the 483294th time and I just realized something. when zoro is teaching sanji how to skate you mention that he catches his toe-pick. but isn't he wearing his hockey skates? 'cause hockey skates don't have toe-picks. o3o

This was good... like really, really good. I love the idea of Zoro as a hockey player, (he'd make such a sexy and badass hockey player *swoons and faints*) . I adore the relationship you set up between Zoro and Sanji, they are very much in character and the ending was very sweet :)
