I know it's been years since you posted this but hope you're still "here"...I truly enjoyed your filling in how Nick's friends looked after him while he endured this awful recovery. Loved how well you captured their characters and their individual voices & thoughts. Having watched all 6 seasons over & over, now especially I enjoy imagining, and reading other fans' imaginings, about our beloved Grimm characters going about their lives "off camera", all the good stuff the TV show couldn't cover. Thank you for this story!

I really likes this. And a valid, though generally less exciting question is, as you ask, what happens after the hero walks, or staggers, into the sunset? Tada!

So wonderful to read! I'm so glad Nick has suck a good team in his corner, ready to be there for him. Nice introspective on how Nick has slight abandonment issues.

We never really get to see their friendship shown like this... And i was kind of disappointed by the abrupt ending of the episode but this... This should have been there in the show. God! Amazing!

This is effing fabulous! Just all of it! You really get inside Nick and Monroe's heads so well! and I absolutely love their friendship portrayed here. It's just perfect!

This was an awesome follow up to the episode. Very realistic and believable. I love the little details like Hank texting like a 13 year old and Nick actually feeling the bruises from his fight. Very nice.

oh, I really really liked this story. I can imagine that Nick felt exactly that way. They always skip these kind of emotional stuff in the episodes and it is a pity. Thanks for filling the void :)
I am just wondering about the title, what you exactly mean. Do you mean something like: "with me you are in good hands" (eventually 'Bei mir bist Du gut aufgehoben')? because your title means something like "with me you are beautiful"

Oh this was so great! Love seeing Nick vulnerable after everything that happened in that ep... I felt like they didn't show that enough on the show. They just made him into some kind of super human at the end. So I really, really liked seeing this side of Nick; the side of him that's not totally used to all things Grimm and still needs friends to lean on. Monroe, Rosalee and even Hank were so sweet with him. I also really like the fact that you made Nick's super hearing something a little painful that he has to get used to. Great job! Would love to read more from you. Welcome to the fandom ;)

awww bless him. And I do love the douglas adams thrown in there... I've had less mortally endangering moments where I've thought "so long, and thanks for all the fish", so this made me laugh out loud.

But I love how you handled your own version of this episode while making it not too heavy, not too light... just different perspectives.
