Do Clint and Loki have some sort of telepathy going on? That would make the most sense to me, since Loki took over Clint's mind. Glad to see Loki's awake a bit, not so glad to see that he seems to be paralyzed. But he's magic, so he'll probably fix it.

As for theories, I assume there's some sort of spell on Loki (as with Barton and Selvig). I won't bother making any requests, since this story has been finished for years. Are you actually seeing my reviews? I'll keep leaving them anyway, just in case.
Natasha's thoughts on Loki are interesting. There's a connection there that never got properly explored in the MCU, so good job on taking that on.

Personally, I've always thought the whole eye color thing is painfully overused in writing. Particularly in fanfiction, eye colors are always more brilliant, noticeable, and significant than in any movie. On the other hand, we've got the eyes-turn-blue-because-mind-control thing going on, so I assume you're going with something like that.
Anyway, on to the next chapter!

Although I suppose you couldn't have done any differently. Thor and Banner discussing Loki and the various possibilities of the scenario dealing with was nicely detailed. You are doing well with this.
I can totally picture Thor as the person who has to stay out of the hospital because he can't handle looking at a battered Loki. But Loki needs his brother now.

Nice thoughts on what would have happened if the portal closed without the nuke going through it. The Chitauri turning on Loki all at once- that's chilling. And then of course we have Fury being Fury, and the Avengers being the Avengers and trying to do what they can to help. One would think Fury would want to keep Loki alive at least long enough for questioning. But I guess I'll just have to read on to find out what happens.

I enjoyed this first chapter. Loki getting tortured for even thinking about betraying Thanos is crushing. And Thor just wants his brother back, whatever the cost. But how badly hurt is Loki, and can they get the Other out of his head?
I know, I know, read on to find out.

I find myself coming back to read this story very often, I love it so much.

But I’ve just realized that I’ve always imagined the geas on Loki’s back looking like a tramp stamp would look and in that exact position and... well... it kinda fits Loki honestly XD

Now I’m forcing myself to imagine it’s further up for the sake of mental health XD
