This was so awesome, someone needs to continue this! It's way too grand to just end like this! But anyway loved it so I much so much detail and impressibe writing, I never wanted it to stop! Really hope you can continue this or make another story

This is the best story I've exercise read in my life . I loved it so so much it was amazing .

I love fics where people dig deeper into Amy's character, beyond just that 'annoying lovesick' girl. It's unfortunate to see Sonic acting like this (its also seen in Twisted Memories), because honestly he comes off as being really thoughtless. The truth of it, though, is that it's how he acts, sometimes.

This is one of the first Sonic stories I ever read, and it still remains one of my favorite fanfics to this date. I never really liked Amy Rose very much, and still don’t normally, but this fic gave her so much depth and emotional complexity that it was impossible to dislike her at the end. You characterized her as just a lonely twelve-year-old girl, caught up in extraordinary circumstances and in love with an person who will never return her feelings. The way she made friends out of everything and everyone because she was so alone was sometimes funny, and yet so heartbreaking at the same time. How she made her first real friend in Sarah was a beautiful sight to behold, and the ending with the doll analogy was just perfect. I kind of wish the official storyline had gone this way, to be honest. Very good fic! Thank you!

Compared to the recent years of the Sonic fan fictions, this fan fiction was the BEST Sonic fan fiction I have EVER read on this site. I especially admire the inner reflections that Amy has when she was in the city, and the relationship with Sarah and Amy was fantastic. As I was reading the story, it also made me reflect on pieces of my life when I was lonely too. Thank you for writing such a beautiful story.

I absolutely ADORED how snotty you made both Amy and Tails act in the beginning-I'm not a fan of people making Any (or Tails for that matter) be the perfect people, polite and social and everyone loves them! They're children with little to no family, who fight evil on a daily basis! There's bound to be some issues here.

Amy and her self-realizations were almost chilling, too. I was a little creeped out by her talking to and hugging the mannequin (especially when you used the word "cadaver"), but I suppose you make up friends in your mind when you get that lonely.

The character development was incredible! No sudden leaps from childhood to perfection and maturity-The growth was obvious, reasons were placed, and it occurred at a comfortable pace, too.

Truly one of THE best Amy-centric, character-development stories I've read. And this was written eight years ago, too!

OMFG69!Seriously,this story really cut right through my heart... when Amy was trapped in the city ,I knew exactly how she felt, I was always alone... I never really had any friends either... I feel like Sarah does, every day, you see, I wear glasses, and I'm always teased, and Sarah really spoke to me in this story, it was almost as if she was me and I was...her... epic win my friend, epic win. you earn 10/10. I'm bookmarking this...*chuckle*Keep writing epic win stories like this!

a really interesting take on the personality of amy rose, Id say. I loved how you were able to use the imagery of the angel continuously, adding new viewpoints whenever you brought it up again. I was afraid that sarah might be a sue, but I guess you managed to make her a lot more real, and likeable, even if we didnt get to know as much about her as one could learn about amy.

the only thing that irked me was that in the final angel-simile in the end, it seemed as if sarah was the main character and amy some sort of side-kick, while you definitely made the hedgehog more appealing than the human. It would have been nice if there had been two angels in the picture or something.

and how did these scars come to be, excatly? genetic mutation?

anyway, overall great work! be proud of it! :)
