I am a fan of inuyasha to and I even made my own OC with Inuysha as her younger half brother making Sesshomaru her older half brother

I had a dog named Sharkey, she died when she was 16 and I was 12. I miss her

i really do the the story and how you keep the original idea, but at the same time add your own perspective and details to it. its a wonderful story that easily keeps people interested.

I think the reason Sophie changes back when she is asleep in the movie is either,
A. The curse that was put on her makes her body reflect her soul. In the movie the acted like an old women, both in the was she acted and the way she dressed, so the spell made her look like an old when she's asleep the curse is inactive because she isn't really doing anything. Or . . .
B. Howl's magic is strong enough to see though the spell and in the movie you get to his point of view from time to time.

I don't know about the movie, but in the book she changed back and forth because she had a bit of her own magic

I believe that the reason Sophie looks normal sometimes is because we are seeing the world as Howl sees it. Usually we follow Sophie's point of view, but every so often it switches to Howl's point of view. And Howl has always been able to see through the spell on Sophie, just like Cal.
