Hello Chezchuckles! I'm on Cloud 9 since I just found out that you are a Castle fan as well and write Caskett fanfiction )

I've been a fan of your fics for many years now, but I knew you from HP. I love your Clean Sweep universe fics. As a matter of fact, I think I'm not done reading those fics yet because because your work is so extensive! You're one of the most prolific fanfic writers I know.

After reading your HP fics and having loved them, it is a pleasure now to find out that you also write Castle fics I LOVE this show - it's actually my favourite - and Castle and Beckett remind me a little bit of Ron and Hermione. Luckily we have way more Caskett goodness than we have R/Hr's.

But in my opinion Castle has the upper hand - I love that Marlowe and his team of writers took a bold step and decided to continue writing the show *after* Rick and Kate were paired up. I loved season 5 as much as I loved the previous ones! ) Other TV shows should follow in their footsteps.

I look forward to reading all of your Castle fics! ;-)

What a lovely end to that cliffhanger. I know Kate was as confused as everyone watching, thinking he was going to break up and then proposing...the shock was plain to see, lol :) September can't come soon enough!

I love how you brought up an issue that's been in the back of my head since the Valentines episode: how Kate has taken point in the advancing the relationship department. After "Quail", I'd wondered if Castle's avoidance wasn't actually him trying to not spook her, give her the option of setting pace. And here you put all that into what could only be the best possible outcome of this season end.

I just hope things work out like this in the fall, or I'm not sure what I will do!

Utterly beautiful work, chezchuckles, especially in conveying both Kate and Rick's struggles with being open with another about Rick's intentions and Kate's own desires and conflicts about said intentions.

This kept so perfectly with the tone of the scene, like they were both still holding their breath (and us as well). There might have been little joy in it, but the intensity was overwhelming.
