Even though I really dislike Bryony there's something endearing in how Maddy and Rhydian don't let her control them or all that's happened into a vendetta. They let her go, and that's as it should be. They've proven that they're the bigger people, which just makes the heart-warming ending a notch more satisfying. Great writing! |
| jkirsch chapter 2 . 5/21/2016 This chapter made me actually see Bryn as more of a fully fledged character, which I liked. I like how he supports his brother and shows his love for Rhydian by being okay with Rhydian making his own decisions. It's interesting how the mother here is being so selfish and it's the young child (Bryn) who is acting more mature. |
| jkirsch chapter 1 . 5/19/2016 I can't imagine a more perfect opening chapter to the story arc after season one than what you wrote in this chapter. The length was perfect, Maddy's emotions were shown with just the right amount of depth, very poignant. My heart ached. Will definitely be reading more! |
