i'm confused about that comment about her feeling happy because she thinks that with a dress jewelry makeup, etc. she feels like 'a white woman.' that seems stupid, because with all the attention she gets, she should know that she is beautiful no matter what she is wearing. besides, none of that stuff would change the fact that she is BLACK. lol I didn't understand that part, but this story does seem good.

OH MY GOD SO MUCH SHIP. Sheba was so hot. And Candie seemed to know the effects of-excuse me- "nig*** love". He's racist, he's violent, and so damn attractive. And you completely nailed his character. My hat is tipped to you 3 feel free to check out the Schultz/OC story I just started and your advice would be much obliged :)

Wow. For some reason, I feel I'm the only guy who has read this story.(Eh, I'll get over it.) For the past few days, I've been teasing my girlfriend, Iesha and her friends about their crazy obsession with this story. They told me I'd have to read it to understand and so I did. I've got to say, I really like it. I'm usually not into the whole "chick-flick, romance stuff", but because Django: Unchained was such a bad-ass movie, I got interested. The story seemed realistic and not over dramatic like the crap I see in the twilight saga. (no offense, if you're a twilight fan, but you get my point.) I actually would like to read more if you decide to add new chapters. You did really good with this. I'm not gonna lie, I like it!

This story is awesome! My friend Iesha told me about it and I thought I should look it up. I really like the part about Calvin's back story with Marilyn. It's so deep. I wish that was an actual back story in the movie!

Hey. My friend Iesha brought me here. She's been going on and on about this story so I had to read it for myself. We are both Django fans and we even went in a group to see the movie when it came out. Anyway, I read the chapters you have and I now realize what Iesha was talking about. This is an awesome story and it's creative how it's told partially from Sheba's point of view. Keep up the great work and I look forward to the next chapter!

The idea I mentioned earlier could be expanded on. This could set up an alliance between Lara and Stephen since they both would be against the wedding.
Also, I would like to see when Calvin takes Sheba to the city to purchase an official ring. (like you mentioned in an earlier chapter.) You could expand on what you already have!

I don't know if you remember my idea about the picnic and the lake. Calvin surprises Sheba with a romantic picnic by the lake. The two of them talk and laugh. Sheba asks if she could swim for a bit. (she wanted to go swimming in the lake in an earlier chapter, but thought Calvin would be against it.) Calvin, being in a good mood doesn't mind, but he doesn't want to swim himself. While Sheba is in the water, she begs him and even uses her innocent face to try to get Calvin to swim. Calvin is unaffected by her attempts so she splashes water at him. He is mad at first, but after getting the water off his face, he sees Sheba in front of him and they stare at each other with smiles. She comes closer to him and wraps her arms around his neck as they share a passionate kiss. Then, without warning, Sheba pulls Calvin in the water. At first, he's freezing and and a little angry. Sheba then apologizes and Calvin leans in to kiss her. While making out in the water, Calvin splashes Sheba. The two of then become really flirty and get more intimate. Once everything is quiet, Calvin whispers to Sheba "I love you!"
Meanwhile, Lara is watching from a distance in disgust. She doesn't understand why Calvin would want Sheba after she lost the baby. Stephen arrives beside her and says that it's not a good idea for Calvin to be with Sheba because it hurts the business deals. (after all Stephen is the one who really runs Candyland.)

This was a beautiful chapter. I'm glad you went with my suggestion. I understand how it feels to have writer's block. I've been there. Even on my novel I'm getting published. There were times I just needed a good idea to get me to the next stage of the story. Glad to help.

Im glad Sheba survived. I wished you should have co-wroted the Django script it would made more interesting scenes in the movie
