the story about the magic paintbrush was awesome.

I NEED MORE! I'm really digging this fic man, stayed up too late reading this. I really enjoyed the more light hearted approach the ponies took to saving their friends, a nice change from the fight scene i enjoy. I also appreciated the minimal use of the "sayings" like Spike mixing up his memories for fairy tales or the breezie's little "well do it together!". It's nice to have it just once or twice once. Also so excited to see Honaloo-loo in this story, she's my favorite!

The Master doesn't really seem to get the ponies he's dealing with. Even corrupted at their worst their inherent niceness is just too much for them to be truly cruel and vicious!

Is the master Twinkle Wish? But that makes even less sense!

And the master I see is a 'poke the poodle' baddie too at heart. Like he's trying to be unspeakably evil but can't quite pull it off.

"…Wait. How did you know who we were and how to find us? No one else even knew our names! I know because I checked when it first happened!"

And the truth comes out. Except they're too scared and conflicted to put two and two together.

At that moment, lightning flashed outside—a side effect of the mountain's strange weather.

The weather is weird because of Weatherby using her magic tralala, it's not chaotic on its own.

This snake thing . . . it's like one of Pinkie Pie's nightmares.

I wonder what became of Twinkle Wish, the wishing star.

They need to do something for the breezies or they'll starve to death soon in their sleep!

When did the forgotten mention the master to the ponies?

I can't stop gushing how innocent this all is, yet they still can work together!

THAT ONE should at least hit home SOMEHOW. Willing to make up for all the birthdays they've missed? WIthout a second thought? Even if they aren't questioning why she's in their birthday book to begin with.

Ironically, in most places, they really does feel like the writing style of the G3 DVDs.
