It was with immense forlorning that I remembered this was only one chapter when I reached the end. Absolutely stunning writing, your descriptions of both physical things and emotions are flawless, beautiful. I am legitimately impressed. You are a master of innuendo, highly skilled at the more difficult "showing and not telling" method. Please keep it up, for the sake of snow queen but also all good and accessible writing!

Best thing ever. I think Regina/Snow relationship is very interesting. Snow adores and looks up Regina On the other hand, the Queen's loathed the kid for years, pretending she's the perfect stepmother. But, at the very begining, she liked her as much as Snow liked her. You've to be very hurt to hate that much for so long even when the victim was only a child. Maybe, time would have healed Regina if she hadn't been young too, just a couple years older.

Epic Snow Queen examination. Your writing was exquisite to read, and I really appreciated your in-depth look into both Regina and Snow White's personalities. Your Snow really reminded me of Kirsten Dunst's Claudia portrayal from Interview With the Vampire. It's this balance between innocence and having a very intelligent, manipulative mind. And as an Evil Regal, I must point out that it was near painful for me to read the very mature-type Regina angst. She was so obviously broken in this, and beyond that, this is the point at which Regina has absolutely no hope that things will turn in her favor...poor baby.

I was extremely compelled by this one-shot, and I hope to read more!

This was so beautifully written. I really loved this story even if the ending was sad. I loved that they got along for a while and Regina felt Snow's love for her. It would be wonderful to have more moments like this written. Absolutely wonderful job :)
