Poor Malcolm! I love that Felicity totally stepped up and saved the day or, rather, his flesh.

I'm glad Malcolm set Oliver straight about the Laurel situation. Did Oliver really expect her to just ping pong back over to Tommy if he broke up with her? Ugh. Although she did do a bit of ping ponging between the two already. Tommy needs to find a new girl. So does Oliver.

Wow. Tommy has sunk to a new low.

The outtake was cute.

I adore Malcolm. I liked this chapter. Looking forward to the next.

i'm glad you enjoyed the story (more than once!) and the small flashback with malcolm and rebecca. :)

I've been re-reading this (since I love your Malcolm stories :) ) and I had totally forgotten about that Rebecca/Malcolm moment and I literally started tearing up a little. (or a lot) I can just picture the scene in my mind. Over the seasons, as more of Malcolm's backstory is revealed, it becomes more clear as to what he went though and how Rebecca's death pains/weighs on him everyday. Fantastic job.

This was really good. A nice read. I like how you've portrayed Malcolm, he is one of my favorite characters in the show. And now, onwards to the sequel!

Re-reading this again since I quite enjoy your take on Malcolm, both in this and in your 'Dark Archer's revenge' type story. Whenever I watch the show I tend to think of how similar the two of them are, and I definitely can't wait for Season 3 to begin because of Malcolm being a series regular now. I hope he remains so for more than one season...

Love the complexity of this story. Merlyn's still the villain but he's also so much more than that and unlike the TV show, Oliver now comes to feel that humanity, that sympathy and other stuff that makes things far from black and white. After all, all that bonding time they had was far from faked.
