Imagine how much richer he would've been if he had been raised in the Alola region and did Pyukumuku Tossing daily! 20k Poke a day and his life savings from Kanto are only half that daily amount! Granted he still needs to spend a bit on food for his team until his Pelego is completed enough but once it's there he'll be rolling in the beans and can save more of his money to be converted into Wizarding money. Did I mention that thanks to Thrifty Megamart you can fully recoup what you've spent on normal pokeballs when you resell them thanks to the discount coupon they give you when you enter the store and that you get to keep all the Premiere Balls you've been given? There's a reason why I got 1mil Poke in Sun before ever fighting the E4. He'd be rich as a royal once he converted THAT much Poke into Wizarding money! I haven't even touched on the Money Smeargle/Meowth & fighting the Battle Buffet on Melemele Island, and how much more profitable doing that with the Rotom powerup that increases money eanred in battles even more(Ultra Moon)! |
