MAAAAN. I love the shitennou so much. What a beautiful epilogue. It so nicely wrapped up. You showcased Usagi’s forgiving character, her capacity to love and forgive and her displaying the stones on the shelf for Mamoru because she knew that’s what he needed almost. It was so pretty. This was a beautiful story, kasienda, thank you for sharing!

MOTOKI, I love Motoki so much. And that he was slamming down Mamoru’s door. I liked the way that you did the torture to break Usagi. It was super layered and kept me on the edge of my seat. The fact that Mamoru was privy to what was being done through the connection, it elicited all the feels. Man. Zoi and Kunzite. That was more painful to me than I thought it would be. I sad that it ended that way for them, but necessary obviously. The way this was written was super interesting, with flipping back and forth between torture scenes and mamoru and Kunzite. It was well done and kept it very interesting. You unfolded the events really prettily and I was left satisfied after reading this chapter!

This chapter kicked me in the feels for Zoi and Kunzite! Zoi on the feather bed? Then seeing a new lily brainwashed kunz? Then you ended that scene with that line of Zoi following him to hell. This was beautiful to me, and while Endymion and serenity recovering their memories was super feels too, Zoi and kunz captured my heart in this one. I like the Minako connection tbat you put in there too. That was a ridiculously neat concept. I loved that! I also love that serenity was the one taken here!? I’m excited to see what happens next!

Much I fucking love about this chapter! It’s getting so good kasienda! And I know that it may not seem like it, because dark kingdom stories are aplenty, but this is actually so unique! First of all! I LOVE MOTOKI. He’s my little spirit animal. Being all supportive and ducking reproachful but still so loving his best friend! That first but, watching mamoru tutor Usagi from his point of view made me so happy. It was the best way to show that! Then mamoru is so mamoru. Guilt. Doubt. Lonely. All of these things showcased so brilliantly in this chapter. I think the reaction to Minako and mamoru pulling away, from a character perspective, was a perfect mamoru response. Oh! And your girls are on point too! Rei with her overprotective accusations. All growly. And Minako! Beautifully done! Then kunzite. Man. The shitennou are near and dear to my heart so the way you are showing him in the narrative and the little snippets. LOVE FOR THIS— I especially liked the line about how he thought beryl was looking for something, because that was a duh moment for me! Like, why wouldn’t they go to other populations that are less protected?! This makes sense to me. And while I love my mina/kunz ship, I think that Zoi and kunz fit here. Any it was beautiful.

Kasienda! IM SO SORRY! life forced me to put down the fanfiction for a little bit, and I had to life mid fic. BUT it was not because this is wasn’t awesome ! Cause it is?! I reread the first 4 chapters to jog my memory (and I couldn’t review th because apparently you’re only allowed to review them once. Which is ridiculous!) so, I am duly prepared to finish reading this beautifulness! OMG I love this chapter. You got some pretty complex emotions rolling in this one. Poor Mamo thinks he lost his princess and is trying to push Usagi away to bring her back? Did I mention how much I loved how you crafted the dream landscape and that manipulation to bring about tuxedo Kamen? Cause that was pretty fucking cool and something I have not read yet. Also, love that we get some Motoki and mamo dynamic. I loved their conversation and it always pleases me when he’s included. Your transition to mamo connecting with Usagi! So adorable! My fave line in this chapter “Well, I don't know if you're the princess Usako, but my heart tells me that you are definitely my princess” cause that was a beautiful damn sentence. Then the little date on starlight tower, and the implied kiss at the end?! So pleased. I love the progression!

REVELATIONS, INDEED! Oh my gosh. I’m so sorry. Life took me away from your beautiful story but now I’m back! And so excited?! So, there was a lot to unpack in this beautiful chapter ! I love the way you wrote this one. The pace was quick and kept me engage throughout— and switching to the little snippet with Neph and then the little pieces with Serenity in his dreams were gorgeously done. Felt a bit nostalgic and made me sort of sad but also excited for what’s going to happen?! Usagi and mamorus relationship is my jam in this one. I love the teasing banter, that’s like borderline mean but give and take? And then the vulnerable moment where mamoru revealed his tragic past. And then the way they evolved, and when he figured out who she is it wasn’t jarring ? And it was natural for
Him to admit he loves her? I liked that. Makes me invested in your characters. STILL LOVE THIS

GAH ! Okay. So I’ve had to do some serious adulting for the past week and so I needed to put my sailor moon aside! But I’m back! And excited! And I super LOVED THIS CHAPTER! I really loved the way that you have the memory of Serenity teaching him how to use his powers. Visualizing a garden? That is super fucking cool. I super heart love reading different takes on how the Senshi and Tuxedo Kamens powers work. Cause there are so many different versions. Even anime vs Manga. I loved the way you explained it. Vivid. Beautiful imagery that is glamour based. I’m also super excited for the reveal in this one. I loved how mamorus internal dialogue is annoyed by Usagi, and he’s constantly making fun of her, but how as the reader, you can tell that he actually likes her. That’s really neat. I love when authors pull that off. ANOTHER THING I LOVED the way you worked with the flashbacks. Especially the moving back and forth between the battle between kunzite and training Endymion with Neph— it was super fucking cool and it was like watching a movie. And the flow was fluid, and super sucked me and sorry I was gone for a bit!

Gah! THIS IS WONDERFUL?! I love that you’ve fleshed out Mamoru’s character. I love when mamoru is written with that vulnerable piece from the way he grew up, and I loved all the details you wrote in there for that. The dreams, the bit about how he feels disconnected from his life and the parents he doesn’t remember, and picturing nine year old mamo playing in the arcade with Motoki makes MY LIFE. I love that there is the friendship with Motoki, and the little Setsuna mention, too? You are building his character up so beautifully. Then there is the contrast between the sil mill snippets and his first meeting with Usagi! I love cute, bubbly, slightly crying Usagi! This makes me happy, as well as the teasing banter. And the fact that mamoru draws. That final scene was a perfect ending. All of the pieces you carefully set up culminating into that final, emotional scene for mamoru where he knows now that it was always real. GOING TO LOOOOVE THis!

WELL, DAMN. That was a poignant SilMil version of the end! I particularly enjoyed the language used in this. It was poetic, almost, and super fitting given the content. OH. THE ANGST. It hurts my heart and makes me all excited for what’s about to come in equal parts! This looks like it’s gearing up to be an epic? And I’m so down for this!

This fic is beautifully well done! For me, the very first arc of Sailor Moon was the best, and I'll always cherish it over the subsequent arcs! Yet I've always wondered how the first arc could've been different if Mamoru had made some moves earlier on. Once again, you delivered on an excellent plot point! You've taken great liberties to show Mamoru's inner struggle with himself and how that affected Usagi, Motoki, and others. Then including the shittenou, especially Zoicite and Kunzite, was noteworthy because of their past involvement with Prince Endymion. I also liked the way you incorporated all the senshi into Mamoru's life one by one, something that the actual anime and manga had failed to do. Your Usagi, as usual, was my favorite part of reading this fic, however, your Mamoru came a close second! I have always found him to be a complex character that needed further exploring, and you've totally excelled in that regard! I saw there's a sequel to this fic which I can't wait to read soon! You're amazing! :-)
