I had to read this one twice because once was just not enough. I'm still not sure twice was! You know that huge wave you feel when you read something perfectly romantic and satisfying, that blush and "aahhh" feeling you get? I had it, big time, when I read this ending. AMAZING. The confessions, the playful yet touching morning after, the replay of the evening with so much more depth and impact), the adorable finale... I have no words except thank you and I love you!

Seriously, phew! Frantic, hot, yet realistic and with a clear tenderness showing at times. I'm not sure wonderful or beautiful are appropriate praise, let's just say it was amazing and... hard to forget!

I really loved Kurt's almost calling the man Dave. I can only imagine if Dave had heard him, what could have happened... :D

OMG. Picturing Dave in that outfit made ME hot under the collar! Wonderful job at the description here (as always), it was really effective.

Kurt's reaction was priceless (I didn't think he would figure this guy to be Ian at first, nice little panic there... ) and the staring contest was way hotter than should be allowed. I could feel the tension rising, it was magical. I liked the little insights into Dave's frame of mind, chaotic as they should have been. Very well done there.

Then their little conversation on the balcony was just so spot on. It was so great to see Kurt gaining confidence and be bold like that. Again, who could resist Dave like that? ;)

Ooh la la the roller-coaster ride! Nobody can make me feel so many different emotions over the course of a single chapter.

Light-hearted discussion (a bit of food porn there, mmm pizza!) that lifted my spirits, bittersweet memories for Dave. Then the full-on breakdown for Kurt (god that was hard to read, so much pain and seeing Kurt doubt himself like this was just too sad!), followed by that kiss... Ugh I know it wasn't right but it actually was for Kurt and... asjbdhkja frustration!

The ride to Kurt's place was the perfect quiet interlude. Just beautiful.

Finn was adorable and Rachel was completely... Rachel. :D

Loved the subtle tension the final conversation between Kurt and Dave created. The plan is on and feelings almost revealed, eeep! ;)

So I read the whole thing through, time for my usual chapter-by-chapter review!

Even though it's not the reason behind the title, I like how it already shows in this beginning. Kurt's breakdown is so carefully done, step by step, utterly believable. Even just the part where Kurt walks in the street is heartbreaking. You are really gifted at picking up on the little moments that show true emotion and resonate with people and then put them in your stories, with powerful effect.

I really love that introduction as a whole too. You do a great job at showing their level of intimacy, their feelings (the ones they share and the ones they hide) for each other... It's wonderfully emotional and made me care, instantly.
