Great chapter. I am glad that James now understands and respects Ginny. She is a brave, loving, self-sacrificing woman who deserves his admiration.

There is not a son alive who would not beat up Miles for making that comment about their mother. That kid is a little sh*t who deserved a beatdown!

This story is amazing! Ginny is a lot tougher than I am. I could not imagine having to trail my resentful 16 year old around school. I love James Sirius, but even I want to slap him for his at school stupidity and how he is talking to his mother. I always picture him as a fun, protective big brother, whose duty it is to tease his younger siblings at least sometimes. However, he would be all over anyone else who teased them. It is exactly how my brother was with his five little sisters.

I love the way you write Ginny and Harry as adults. Harry is wonderfully in love with his wife, and Ginny’s brought her fierceness into adulthood. She lives a purpose-filled life. Going down memory lane, and especially the lovely statements about what motherhood is brought tears to my eyes. James had a unique and wonderful privilege to patch things up and learn. He’s very fortunate to have that chance to work on the relationship with his Mum while away at boarding school. Love your Ron too. Had a hard edge, and had learned so much about acceptance. James was extremely fortunate to see him too. Ron was no Mary Sue, he was written realistically well.

This chapter was so emotional with Ginny talking about motherhood, the war and why they fought. And when James sees her not just as his mother but as the whole, fierce woman she is too. Incredibly written.

I love the way you write Harry and Ginny together. It was so sweet when she told him he'd already fulfilled her teenage fantasies by proposing, writing her love letters to read at breakfast and having kids together. And this line was beautiful! "He interrupted her with a kiss, a soft, dreamy kiss that spoke of falling in love, and memories, and dreams come true."

Wonderful idea having Ron talk to James and make him see sense. I love the dynamic you've created between the two of them in this chapter. And showing how Ron has changed and matured since he was younger!

I can't believe James sent Hermione catnip! And when asking for a favour as well! He's just asking for more trouble aha
