That's interesting... I might have skimmed past it, but how does a letter get to Rune in less than a week but it will take the two travelers three months? And jeez, Lina, you have Six, that was a maximum as far as the healer knows, could be more or less. Sure 20 guards, but actually accepting the job before being cured... Smh. Oh well, the novels don't have her stuck doing things for nobles all that long, but if this is going to happen in every city the all the way to where Rune is, I might have asked him to meet us in the middle somehow - even then he'd be able to get there quicker than they would and find a reasonably safe spot. Guilt is a great motivator. They could have staid at the healer's house, asked him to come, and had it seem like less than five days to them probably. There must be a good reason for them to go to that spot, or Lina still feels too guilty to ask anything of him that's not absolutely necessary.

Just... Lina, 20 questions is NOT 'Truth or Dare Without Dare' lmao, it's when one person picks a thing, and someone else has 20 questions to figure out what the thing is. If you've ever heard anyone say, 'Animal, vegetable, or mineral?' It's basically one of the early questions you'd ask to narrow down the list of things you should be asking about in 20 Questions lol. Maybe it's regional.

I'm glad to see an updated to this fantastic story. I'm curious to see what kind of danger Rune would run into if he was to stay at the tower but most likely it'll still follow him to stop him and Lina from meeting.

Man, I would never write Amelia being stupid. Not that it's a bad thing. It makes the story better.

And yes, Zelgadis IS one heck of a guy. Lol.
