I like the idea and premise of the story but I would suggest improvement in grammar and also motives of the characters. It all felt ingenuine and everyone just seemed like dicks for no reason. If you gave them some rational reasons for their actions the characters would have seemed more genuine. Grammar also needs improvement but the pacing was good. Overall I felt your story was lacking mostly because of how unusually evil you portray people without providing a cause. Not everyone is evil and showing a whole village to be cruel can be rather illogical and seems like you're trying too hard to make Hiccup the benevolent victim rather than a tangible character. Sorry for the harsh review. Keep writing and you will definitely improve and don't be put off by my comment but rather think about it and see if it helps improve any of your future stories.

Kinda disappointed but i understand its your work to do what you want with. I was looking forward to the confrontation and, if you want in that direction, the forgiveness and the start of a rocky relationship between hiccup and berk. But still, a good read. Might want to put a warning for new comers that its incomplete

I can't say I'm not disappointed, I read this whole thing basically waiting for the confrontation about when they framed him only for you to stop the story one chapter before that was finally going to happen. Really disappointing

You do realize that HTTYD would not work as a movie without Hiccup's relationship with Astrid?
Her conversation and their subsequent relationship is essential to the plot and story resolution.

I hope you finish this story at your own pace it's brilliant and clear a lot of thought and effort has gone into it. This story is one of the best I could have ever read. I just hope you don't get hiccup with Astrid after everything she did to him as well as the others. Even if you do this story will be great. I have never felt more emotions reading a fanfic than I did with this one. Well done you have a good knack for this stuff. ;)
