A fine story.

Another pretty exciting chapter, featuring the first meeting of the Brisby family. Mrs Brisby hasn't done much yet, so far it was mostly her children, and I like the way you portrayed them. The interactions they had with Josh were pretty cute. The way he convinced them to set him free, while also "framing" Auntie Shrew, was really funny. Josh's change of attitude, from considering murder to keep his presence secret, to being on good terms with the kids, was handled well.

The beginning of the chapter, as Josh treks through the desert, was also well-written, and you did a good job at portraying how dire his situation was.

I hope to keep reading soon. Josh may have left at the end of the chapter, but he'll be back.

I was saddened to see how Aunt Sophie was killed but it was incredibly awesome to see Fievel help Josh in the fight against Jake.

Ugh, Jenner killing Nicodemus was pretty much horrible and I'm not surprised, but I was surprised and plesantly glad that Sullivan, after his "talk" with Josh and the other rats, helped Tanya escape. That was a great turning point and considering that I was saddened in the movie with Sullivan's death, it was great to see him grow.

I don't blame Tanya for not telling Isabella everything, and I thought that difficult decision was well written and of course, seeing Isabella refuse Jenner and spit at him directly in the eye was a great way to show her courage. Here's hoping that Justin and Josh will be able to rescue her.

I was surprised to see that the box did not contain the Stone, and knowing Nicodemus, he was craft enough to hide it somewhere else, but why do I have the strangest feeling he's already given it away? And I thought Bernard not willing to tell Josh and the others the whereabouts of his portion of the Stone was very realistic. Despite Josh saving them, it's far too dangerous to let anyone, especially a human, know and one heroic act does not negate the importance of keeping secrets. So kudos on that.

Oh, and the image of Brutus nearly punching a microwave in frustration makes me smile. You know how much I love that big oaf, but seeing him rant, rave, and being constantly outvoted or put through annoying predicaments never fails to entertain me.

Continue soon! And no, I don't doubt that Josh will save Tanya. ;)

An exciting chapter. The descent to the planet's surface is very dramatic, and very suspenseful. Every time Josh thinks he has escaped one danger, there's always something else threatening to kill him. You also do a great job describing the landscapes of Nimh-beta.

Josh's situation improves after he has escaped his pod, and discovers that the planet is very Earth-like, with a breathable atmosphere and near-identical plants. But he soon gets in trouble again: he gets attacked by rats, some NIMH characters. You do a good job at describing them and the backstory of their civilization.

I hope to keep reading soon.

Great Chapter, keep up the great work

It's been way too long. I mean, has it seriously been five years since my last review? And I stopped only two chapters in? Dang _

The third chapter is pretty nice though. You do a really great job at describing the spaceship and its futuristic technologies, almost making it feel like you're actually there. You do a good job portraying Fitzgibbons as a jerk, as well as Josh's feelings.

Josh was pretty reckless at the end of the chapter, but it'll work out in the end. Based on the author's note, he will survive to meet the mice and rats of NIMH (also it is still pretty early in the story to kill off a major character). I hope to keep reading soon.

Also, thank you for your review to Possibilities. I'm glad you liked the chapter, and Pipkin's portrayal. Blackberry and Primrose's fate will soon be revealed. Also, you gave me an idea for a later scene with Tabitha...

Good chapter! But as much as I know you're working on multiple fanfics, I wish you could start posting new chapters of this fanfic at least once a month. It takes you months and months just to make and post another one to this story just like with your other fanfics! I like the way you write your stories and they're very good, but it would sure help and would by very appreciated if you could update your fanfics more often! Because at your current pace, it will take you 7, 8 or possibly even 10 years or more to complete each and every one of your fanfics that you're currently working on! And since you're also planning on making each of these stories into trilogies, then it could decades to complete them too! I know you're a hard-working guy, you have a job, family and a life too, but I'm just saying that updating your fanfics more often like at least once a month or even every two or three months would make your stories even better. As good as your stories are, a lot of people and other readers will lose interest with them if you take too long to post new chapters. I write stories myself and have them posted on Wattpad too and while my writing is nowhere near as good or professional as yours, I'm still proud of my work and post new chapters to my fanfics a lot more often than you do. I'm not saying this to insult you or hurt your feelings, I'm just giving you my own personal feedback and how important it is to post new chapters to our stories online as not everyone is that patient and real long waits can frustrate and discourage all your, mine and other authors' readers from continuing to read our stories and that is something that we generally try to avoid. As for those stories that I've been writing on Wattpad that I mentioned, they're quite different from yours, not just in terms of me updating them much faster and my writing not being as good or accurate as yours, but I like my stories to all be written in a much different way than any of yours. In your stories like your Watership Down, The Lion King and, of course, your The Secret Of Nimh fanfics, human society is kept mostly in the dark about the truth about what's really happening in your stories and never finds out the truth about what really happened or will happen. For example, in your Watership Down and your Lion King fanfictions, the human characters decided or were either forced to or bribed to keep the truth about the existence of the future about the rabbits from Watership Down and the world changing in the future and the existence of the Pridelands, Outlands, The Lion King characters and the others animals there a secret, in both stories respectively. As for this Secret Of Nimh fanfiction, no other human besides Josh Anderson finds out about the existence of the rats and mice ruling that world in the Alpha Centauri System because the rest of Josh's crew passes away long before he arrives, crash lands and gets stranded on said world, with no way to return to Earth and the emergency back-up ship and its crew that was supposed to rescue Josh and his crew (who was stranded on the planet in the past) also having been lost long ago. My stories, though, don't work like that. In my fanfics, I like to push the edge more and more as they go on! There is less secrecy and the characters are more open to revealing the truth to not just their friends and families, but also even to the rest of humanity. In fact, that's what's been happening and will continue to happen in all my fanfics. While some secrets are kept secret for a reason, sometimes the truth has to come out anyway sooner or later too. That's because there's been a lot of things happening in my stories that have been changing that among many other things! Also, while my grammar isn't perfect and most if not all of the chapters in my stories are ridiculously longer than they need to be and they don't always make sense, what matters most to me is that they are done my way and come out just as I intend for them to! If you're curious and want to read my stories yourself, you can read them on Wattpad at any time you want to. All you need to do is go to Wattpad, type in Davidkoss, to the profile of the same name and click it and then you'll come to a page on your screen that has not just my fanfics, but also my friend, David's, fanfics on it as well that are all mostly still in progress. In case you're wondering, my fanfics are on David's profile page on Wattpad because I feel that Wattpad is a great place for them to be and also, having them there makes it much easier for my friend to read them as he is a big fan of my stories. Plus, I couldn't figure out how to post them anywhere else and my friend offered to take care of that for me by posting them on his Wattpad profile page for me. In other words, I'm the one who writes the stories (that aren't his) and he post them on Wattpad for me. I recommend you check out my 'TOONEY' trilogy or my Fairly Oddparents fanfic. Those two are really getting good, but like all my stories that are on Wattpad with my friend's stories, they have mature content, language, violence and more! Also, be warned that my stories can get a bit weird, gross and disturbing as well sometimes. One other things about my stories that I have been doing and like to do is that they are all connected with each other a bit like the Marvel Cinematic Universe. My TOONEY trilogy is the center and the main stories in my own little Cinematic Universe or whatever you would prefer to call it where all my fanfics come together. But you need to read all my fanfics to fully understand all the characters and events that will be incorporated into my TOONEY trilogy as well. But enough about that, as I said before, this was a good chapter! I admit, not too found of the romance (seemed a bit forced), but this world you've built is absolutely STUNNING!
