I shall say that it's not often that we see a fanfic with Whitney as one of the main characters, especially one that features a romance between her and an OC, so I will compliment you on that for having more originality than most fanfic authors on this site.

The beginning was alright, it was good that you worded it the way you did to give us an idea of how Kaidan generally is as a character (his mindset, way of thinking, and such). Another positive is that you took the time to describe him, that is often something we don't tend to see when it comes to fanfics and OC's, so I praise you on that as well.

I think the Ok in the line "Ok Kaidan! Where do you come from?" should be replaced with "Okay", but that's not really that big of an issue. Just wanted to tell you for the sake of grammar improvement.

I'd like to make this review longer, but I have something to do unfortunately, I am sorry for that reason. But what I can say is that you did fine for a first chapter, and you're introduction with Kaiden along with the development is going along finely so far. I will review more when I have the chance.

Giovanni now runs a pharmaceutical company, that cannot be good, although you'd think being the ex-leader of team rocket would make him an intelligent and cunning person, yet he fails to spell "Odin's" name right XD.

Huh... I wasn't expecting the Jhoto region to be located in the U.S. ( in your story of course ).

Also it probably didn't help Whitney's idea that Kaiden could help with farm work after mentioning about him being blind in one eye. But at least everything work out nicely.

I like this story so far, especially since Whitney, who is one of my top ten fave female gym leaders, is in this story :-) .

History: Miki Sunshine was born and raised on Valencia Island with her parents and two older sisters where she had lived all her life. She had spent her childhood playing near the beach, watching her older sister Marina fish for Pokémon, surfing, climbing palm trees and swimming in the ocean with her family. Her father, Chris, who is a retired surfing champion (since the surfing accident left him confined in a wheelchair) which l owns a surf rental shop while her mother, Sheila, is a beach lifeguard. Miki met and befriended a young boy named Tracey Sketchit when she was in Nursery School and they spent their days getting to know each other. She had been traveling on her Pokemon journey since she had turned 10. Her first Pokemon was a male Pichu, given by Professor Ivy. Pichu wasn't really fond of Miki at first. Pichu did not want to do anything but simply run away from her, despite Miki's pleading and begging to help her capture a wild Pokemon. However, after she risked her own life to protect him from a brutally raging typhoon, which destroyed her home when it hit Valencia Island, she had won his trust, and Pichu had been loyal to his trainer ever since.

Personality: Miki is a very compassionate, friendly, gentle, kind-hearted, down-to-earth and caring person who is capable of understanding other people's feelings. She always trusts her instincts, her heart, mind and her soul. She loves to ride the wave with her surf board, and she is one salty sister. She is willing to put her own life for the sake of her own Pokémon whenever they are in danger or threatened. Since her Great-Aunt Bethany lost both her legs due to diabetes, Miki has become a serious health nut.

Accomplishments: Pokémon Surfing Champion, Winner of the Orange Grand Festival Cup. She had received all of the Official Orange League Badges, but she was defeated in the Orange League Tournament. Miki also had received all of the badges of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh and Unova. She also made it in the Top 8 of the Kanto League, and Top 4 of the Silver Conference of the Johto League. So far, she has two Kalos League badges.

There is a strange inconsistency in the middle of this chapter. It appears you are reconning the name of the author (who was originally Guillermo something, not entirely sure) and you left a Guillermo in the biography.

It was pretty interesting to see the "evil" side of the story,, like all the bad guys rounding up in one place and discussing there plans and what not. I always enjoy those scenes :o

In some fandoms, there aren't a lot of stories that focus on minor or supporting characters so it's a nice change of pace to see a story focusing on someone other than the protagonist of a series.
