I really enjoyed the first few paragraphs, the flow is presented very nicely. Finally a online story that has had effort put into it.

Nice to see an update - I must admit I've never picked Miranda to lead the second team either, it's usually Garrus and occasionally Zaeed. Your fic makes me like her character a lot more though, and a bit guilty about that playthrough where I deliberatley killed off her and Jacob... :)

Very very VERY good writing, brings Miranda's potential as a character to the fore. If you look at it from a narrative perspective, Miranda really is the POV of the whole story of ME2 (roughly in a similar way the droids are in Star Wars). And you really bring that out in your writing, as well as exploring her interesting character arch in ways that the game could only hint at, what with her very private and shuttered character. And you did it in a more respectful manner too - I always found it especially creepy that the game camera apparently has to to zoom in on her tits and ass at any opportunity. This especially considering that the whole trauma of Miranda is exactly to be an engineered My Fair Lady who has to wage an unreasonable battle to claim owneship of her own body, let alone her inner self. Her story is the perfect example of objectivization and how horrific it actually is. Looking forward to the next chap!

Literally just played this DLC last night and was horrified. Wish I'd read this first so I'd have been prepared. I like your take on it

Glad to see an update! & an interesting use of Overlord (which I hated to play - that Hammerhead was just too flimsy...) as a further test of Miranda's loyalty to Cerberus. Wonder when she'll realise her mistake - final mission? Can't wait for more :)

I wonder how badly screwed up Jack's head is in this fan-verse. You see, she's probably got much more raw power than Miranda but, against Miranda's skill and cunning, that might not be enough.
