That didn't take long. Honestly I didn't expect Loki to realize the truth till after at least chapter ten and I also expected Tony to hide under the bed not sitting on top of it, still maybe that suits the reckless genius better.

Hmm, some of the phrases you use definitely sound British, like the use of "mate" and saying "Odin was stood ..." rather than "Odin was standing ..." and I think you mentioned crisps earlier? Anyways, you could probably get away with quite a bit in the whole American vs English colloquialisms thing, but you might want to change "mate" - the only time we ever hear that in North America is when that person isn't speaking the native dialect (aka impersonations, some guy on TV, Harry Potter, etc.), and since the story is set in New York, it's a bit out-of-place.
(Note that I'm not American, I'm Canadian, and I'm also a bit of an anglophile so there's that ...)
