This is one of the best versions of this scene I've ever read. It's emotionally compelling, hits all the necessary notes, and reads smooth as silk. I think one of the most important moments is when little Leia meets Vader and likes him. It gives added poignancy to his realization that he has trained her to hate him. Favorited.

This is beautiful. I like the idea of Vader having all these feelings for Leia and all this guilt. "Anakin Skywalker knew all too well there was no such thing as a clean slate. But at least he could have a meaningful exit." I love that line.

Well-written. Very good prose. Not really a Leia or Padme fan, so not much to say there about the political scenes, but certainly the story flowed well.
