| solveariddle chapter 1 . 7/7/2013 I love that - as special as their talk is - it is kind of a normal situation because it is normal for Cal (in a weird way, but that's Cal) to just sit there and *think* in Gillian's direction to start it all eventually. So, no over the top love confessions or out of character actions but just this conversation that is so in character and them. Beautiful! Favorite line: "I think she's just expecting that you'll be there one morning when she comes down for breakfast..." And of course, the ending: "What were we waiting for, love?" Gillian was still smiling as she told him, confidently, "This." Thanks for finishing and posting this story. It would have been very lonely and sad on your hard drive. ;) |
