I loved this fanfic! I love your versions of Lily and James. I loved the character development, the fact that nobody in this fic was perfect, that James was a bit of an ass and loved his internal monologues. I'm glad I found this fic - definitely one of my favorites!

I have to say that i loved with all My heart this history, because you wrote a lot of things that I have imagened by myself about the story of the marauders and Lily/James love, like the scene when Snape saw them almost shagging in the library, or the beggining of a beautiful friendship between Lily and Sirius. I really like the way you wrote this history. I will read Heroes of Ghosts asswell.

It might have ruined weeks of your life, but it was marvelously done. Better than canon. Using Snape as a comparison just... blew my mind.

I realized about a quarter way through this story that I read it before (reading the dream sequence was my first serious Deja Vu moment), likely when you were originally posting it here on FF However, I don’t think I ever got to read the last chapter! I’m so glad I re-discovered this fantastic work. Thank you for finishing it regardless of how long it took—many years later and I’m grateful to finally have read the conclusion.

I'm really enjoying this so far. It's some of the best Jily I've ever come across, not least of all because of the ghostly memories of a brief Snily that we unexpectedly learn of. It's such a good moment when we realize that it's Snape, and not James, who wrote the note, and it's 100 percent believable that Lily could have briefly hooked up with Snape in the way that you write it. The exposition over the scene where Lily and Snape are brewing in the dungeons is just beautifully written, and the line that "she missed that dead boy" just breaks my heart.

The kiss between Snape and Lily is so broken and distressing and off, just like their friendship is in that moment. That's also well-done.

Thank you for writing this. I'm gonna go back to reading it now.

Hiya. I know this story was posted a while ago, and you probably don’t even read comments/reviews anymore, however, I wanted to let you know that I absolutely *loved* this fic. It had everything I had been looking for in a Marauders fanfiction and much more. Your writing style and attention to detail is amazing, and your dry humor had me laughing out loud on many occasions. Thank you for the blood sweat and tears and long nights I’m sure went into writing it. I look forward to reading the sequel!
