Emocionalmente gratificante.
Immortal Bubblewrap chapter 1 . 3/10
So sweet! And I agree, Kakashi's teaching was definitely one of the key parts of the entire series for sure!
imanbutton98 chapter 1 . 2/24
I agree with your reasoning on writing this fic. I really do want to know on what Kakashi thought and feeling while all his three student go with their new sensei (the time skip period) , Naruto with Jiraiya, Sakura and Tsunade and Sasuka on run with Orochimaru.

I once read one fic that told how heartbreaking Kakashi felt on that time, just like all his old teammates left him before. And I keep looking for that kind of fics after that because I realized how Kakashi was forgotten on that period (time skip) when he is also in Team 7. Unfortunately, there was only a few fics about that period and only a number is a good fics.

Just sharing with you my thought because I like your fics and writing and I found out your reasoning on writing this fics. So its like I am hoping that you continue writing more fics after this (about Kakashi I hope, cause I like him).

I love their student-teacher relationship, great story!
Guest chapter 1 . 1/10/2017
It is true, that Kakashi got sidled off of being a teacher to Team 7 while they went to train with the legendary sannin.

But I agree with you, Kakashi wasn't really the teaching type; he is a warrior, a war veteran. And, so it makes Kakashi to be more of a protector of Team 7 than an actual teacher.

He needs more credit, that is true. Kakashi taught the three, (more of Naruto) the greatest lesson, that is, those who break the rules are trash, but those who abandon ones comrade is worse than trash.

I'm really glad for this fanfiction and your end note of why you wrote this particular fanfic. Thankyou, Goliathbeetle.

Yup. Yup, yup, yup. Couldn't agree more. Loved this story.
Donni chapter 1 . 2/12/2016
I agree with you about Kakashi's role, though I've not seen it put like that before. Thanks!

I completely agree with you! He dosn't get enough credit! No matter what Kakashi will always be my favorite! XP
Silver chapter 1 . 12/26/2014
I agree, Kakashi IS and will always be a protector. He's not one that is suited to teaching, and the rare moments in which he did is precious. Team seven became powerful under the teachings of the Sannins, yet neither of them ever forgot Kakashi. To them, he was a commander and friend, to Sasuke and Naruto, he was an older brother/father to them. He was someone who fought alongside them and sparred with them (despite having to hold back a lot of his strength during their formulative years). Yet, the most important lesson he taught them was to never abandon a friend. That is why Sasuke couldn't bring himself to outright kill Naruto, despite wanting to and saying he does, and Naruto never givingnup on Sasuke, because the bond of friendship they have is so unique in that they easily compliment and support one another when they fought side by side... And when sparring, they push each other to get stronger and better. Sakura doesn't really factor in all that much, her role (while somewhat important) was that of an anchor... Someone to anchor all three boys of Team seven and keep them sane, somewhat.
PNGuin chapter 1 . 10/2/2014
This is probably the best portrayal of their relationship I have ever seen! I love it!
Kakashi has always been my favorite character, and, although he certainly isn't perfect, I've always considered him as Team Seven's sensei over the sanin. Sure, Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru taught Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke all the powerful moves and crap. But Kakashi is unappreciated, for his life teachings are the very essence, the very message that the story line of Naruto portrays. More than anything, it was Kakashi's teachings that helped Naruto protect his loved ones, unite the shinobi villages, and, ultimately, one day, perhaps defeat Madara.
The best teachers don't hand you a solved problem, they give you the wisdom and knowledge to solve it yourself, and that's what Kakashi has always done.
Thank you so much for writing this beautiful piece.
Otakuchan88 chapter 1 . 7/9/2014
Yes! More love to Kakashi! He really was so important to our protagonist, Naruto. Everything you wrote was true though. The fact that Naruto's actions and a large amount of his character was based and built on the first lesson Kakashi taught him is so totally true. This was a great story. Thanks and toodles.
NewCreature11111 chapter 1 . 11/16/2013
