Wow! Sounds-or rather - reads great!

So... I bought it. I actually bought it. Your concept fascinated me so much that I just had to read it. I spent a whole 1 dollar for it... and I'm kinda disappointing. I expected it to be a longer story. I expected more from it. I expected that if you were going to have a letter from Mr. Bingley that it would be hard to decipher like P&P says his letters are... *sigh* If I had read this story here on I would have been happy with it and impressed. But no. You forced me to pay for the story. And now it's just ... meh.

Too bad there was only a snippet here. This did sound very interesting

EW! on Darcy's behalf at that audience with the odious Mr. Collins Darcy's resolution to ask for Elizabeth's hand in marriage necessitates.
I think being shunned by Lady Catherine would be or is the utmost in pleasures, or one of them.
I have (and have had for decades) a to be read list of books, but my parents are neither as odious as poor Anne De Bourgh's surviving parent is, nor have they (my parents) ever had anything to do with my to be read list, except for my dad admiring its existence when he took me and it to our local public library once when I was still in high school.
OK, so now Darcy has written Elizabeth that note, but when did she receive it and did she go walking in the suggested grove of trees, so that she might encounter and have a private conversation with Darcy?

Waiting to it to be in Kindle Unlimited, when exactly will that be? Great story! And I have to say Persuasion is my favorite Austen as well!

Oh good heavens please do write more! I love I already. Please continue this awesome work. I love how your dialogue flows instead of sounding awkward and stilted. It has been a pleasure to read your work. Can't wait for the next chapter.

What a lovely begining! I get from the AN that this story was displayed here and then removed for publishing? What a pity I didn't read it before!

I have one word to describe this story; Lovely.

This is a very sweet story, made all the more impressive by its being in the present tense. I usually can't stand stories written in the present tense; I usually can't even get past the first paragraph or two. So I must commend you on writing so well as to make the present tense so far from abhorrent as to be very enjoyable.

I loved the whole story. Your Darcy and elizabeth are very true to JA and you do a great job (I've already read ACL). Keep writing, please!

What a great story! Yes I'd be nice to couple of chapters more. But the premise of the story was satisfied.

And one more review from me: Yet another great piece, full of fun remembered moments and intricate characterizations. You have an incredible knack for balancing internal monologue, asides, dialogue, and plot movement. I loved this shorter peek into an alternate story, even though AU stories have never been my favorite. However, you handle this with tact and skill and show a much less aggravating version of the original. )
