Yeah, I read the manga, I wrote this as if the whole quincy war never started. Theres just too many un answered questions in that arc currently. but I did take from it the whole Kyoraku head captain situation, because why not?
The death of Genryusai will be explained later. Maybe in future chapters I'll try to figure out a way to incorporate Ichigo's new zanpakuto and very small chance of Quincy abilities showing up in this, but who knows? as for the whole 'separate pressure thing' look for an explanation in a future chapter

Do you read the current manga? If not, Zangetsu is hollowfied naturally his hollow powers merged with his Shinigmi ones since birth. He can't separate them, since they are one and the same. The old man is his Quincy powers, which had been working against him from the beginning.

This seems interesting... Some things are still unanswered, like why Orihime was murdered, and how she ended up in the Soul Society as a lieutenant, but I'm sure you'll answer those in the next few chapters, right? :) I liked the humour you added at the end. It was nice to read after the sad feelings in the beginning.

There are only a few small errors. Just watch your punctuation and when you use your capitals. Other than that, I'm curious to see where you'll take the story.
