Reviews for Suspension
Hurricane chapter 1 . 3/21/2014
Great job!
iammemyself chapter 1 . 7/25/2013
That was awesome. That's a good point, that GLaDOS must have been conscious all the time she was dead, else how would she know she'd been seeing the last two minutes of her life forever? It was very well written, vivid and clear. The only thing that jumped out at me is that GLaDOS is not actually protected while she's in that state. Her chassis is open towards the sky. Unless you were just talking about her head, which was kinda not protected either. But that was the only thing. Otherwise, pretty much flawless.

As promised, hello there!

There is a reason why I love this story so much, and that is the incredibly original concept behind it.
It is never easy to write Chell and GLaDOS' connection as one of friendship. I think of them as very similar people who ended up against each other in the flow of the events; they share a strong bond that, in a way, never was the way it could have been. And the idea of them spending a shared eternity, a shared lifetime as friends, as you say, which vanished in a moment... well, it's way beyond just moving and interesting. I just loved it, I still can't believe I inspired such a wonder. 3 Thank you so much.

This is a very nice story although I didn't understand what was happening at first now I understand it.

BabyCharmander chapter 1 . 7/12/2013
Oh wow. I wasn't sure what to expect when I started to read this, but I'm certainly glad I read it.

Normally I don't like friendship stories between Chell and GLaDOS-their friendship tends to come out of nowhere. But you've actually made it work, which is AMAZING. I would have never thought of something like this, but it worked so well!

...Which makes it all the more tragic when they forget everything. I went "Aww!" (a sad "aww," not a happy one) when I read the first line of that last section. Man. But the last line gives a great sense of hope-that what they went through during suspension won't be for nothing.

Really excellently done. This is possibly one of the best friendship fics between these two I've ever read.
