I love those chapter. There really aren’t enough of these type of stories.

Man... I don’t like stories where Danny’s parents are abusive... but to have Vlad find out and get Dany out of a bad home... if he was actually nice and cared about Danny honestly... have him take Jazz too. I love that girl and she loves her little brother a lot.

I love Vlad as a villain. He’s great. An ass, strong, manipulative and calculating, he is a wonderful bad guy. I wanna hate him for what he has done to Danny. Normally I stay away from stories where him and Danny get along, not because I don’t like the dynamic, but because I have a hard time wrapping my head around the circumstances that would allow them to be friends. You just smashed my normal thought process. If they had seriously just bumped into each other like this... it really might be possible.

I really did enjoy this one the most so far. And I liked all the ideas you listed in the AN. It'd be nice to see Danny change Vlad for the better. Maybe he'd even be able to slowly change his obsession to something better? Like taking care of Danny. I mean, that's also a Vlad-like obsession, as he regularly tried drawing Danny to his side as a son in canon(too bad he went about it the wrong way). Maybe in your fics Vlad's castle could be a place of solace, rather than a place of danger. Cause we all know living in the Fenton household is dangerous whether you're half ghost or not.

In other words... PLEASE MAKE THE ONE SHOT SERIES BADGERCEREAL RATHER THAN THEM BEING ENEMIESSSSSS! -cries out into the sunset- I love that cereal better than Wheaties! And it's the breakfast of champions! D,x

Haha, my imagined end/sequel would be Danny floating around the world like his cousin(after maybe blowing up on Vlad, too like he did his parents. Maybe literally), but ended up getting sucked into a natural portal, taking him to the DC or Marvel universe. Then, realizing that there are both competent heroes AND villains, he'd wander around trying to get the villains to kill him(because if he botched his suicide, why try again? Just get somebody else to kill him), but because the heroes are so competent, he always fails in getting them to kill him. Then the heroes realize they see him around the chaos a lot and start investigating. Though whether they'll be able to save him or not is up in the air.
Boom. Storyline set.

I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter in your set of one-shots. Your writing is great and your ideas give a wonderfully new possible 'Danny meets Vlad' au. (It's also inspired me to try some of my own stories with a similar circumstance.) I've seen alternate versions of their meeting before, but this is by far, the best, being deviant from the original storyline, but not so much that it completely changed the characters. Great job. I can't wait to read more.

This was a great story. Even without the AU part, I really liked the reasoning why Vlad would be obsessed with Jack and Maddie but not see them for 20 years. I also thought the elf as a Christmas decoration was hilarious. (only suggestion - fix "layer" to "lair" [2 places])
