Thank you. This was exactly what I wanted to read when I went looking for a Tom/Mary. In a canon universe where they've lost Sybil and Matthew so young, this is the only resolution that makes sense.

Feel bad for Mary that she can not see herself with Tom. I think she is just afraid.

Well Mary realizes she has feelings for Tom, but has the ridiculous notion that somehow it would be incestual for her and Tom to be married.
