Amazing story! I have always wished there would be more fanfiction based on "Wing Commander" out there.

That series, is in many ways the grandfather of both the "Halo" and the "Mass Effect" game series, with the most significant difference, simply being that those series focus on ground based combat instead of space-combat. Aside from that the parallells are plentiful.

The only thing I don't care much for in this story, is Shepard, since this is one version where the portrayal of the character is something I find almost constantly disagreeable, in attitude, in action, in reasoning, in arguments etc. etc.
