I agree with your reasons and decision.

This was an interesting concept with some fun moments of crossover/genre-blending craziness, but it lacked depth and momentum.

Hopefully, your group project can continue successfully with a clearer vision and fewer untimely interruptions. Good luck!

P.S. I actually liked the introductory timeline. Was a good nod to ME, set the tone and pacing well, and quickly established the setting. Maybe it's not what you're going for, but I'd be happy to see it return.

Well I wish I had looked at the chapter listong first because I just reread this entire story to end up with a note saying the story has been cancelled and rewritten. But I do have to say I agree. I always felt that this story had strong elements of being good but certain aspects (such as Kallen and Lelouches relationship) really needed work. So I'm glad to see that you guys haven't given up on it and are in fact improving it.

Well, damn. I doubt you'd kill off Kallen so I'm guessing that the reaper nanomachines temporarily take over and cause mass chaos? If she dies I don't think there'll be much keeping Lelouche from the deep end, so that could be interesting too. I do hope that the three of you continue this story.

Ahh, I had a thought but already left a review on the last chapter so I had to come drop it here.

Is there any way we can get some Male!Shep/Lelouch scenes? I don't mean in the yaoi pairing way, but like - John was this little shit disturber that learned the truth and did a 180 to become a true blue patriot. He took a level in badass and I'm almost expecting him to shout ALL HAIL BRITANNIA and CERBERUS IS HUMANITY.

It reminds me in a very tangential way of Gottwald. So having them meet and converse (especially for the first time) could really get the blood pumping as far as Shep's inner feelings and loyalty to the empire goes. Sometimes as a reader you just want to get to see things from the point of view of the commoner looking up at imperial majesty.

This is totally top tier. A perfect blend of canons that doesn't feel like you just transplanted a few people from one to the other.

So what's going on here? Are you guys still working together on this or not? I would love to see more of this series or even just an update on your progress.

I can't read after chapter 7. Lelouch never fuckin BLUSHED even in canon so the fact that he did here is ridiculous.
