Oh my goodness, I *loved* this! The Weasleys definitely missed Percy - I just don't think Harry was attuned enough to their emotions to realize it. The twins' anger/cruelty, in particular, was almost certainly a defense mechanism. But yeah, this was amazing! Each scene was measured and felt so RIGHT. I think my favorites were the Bill/Charlie one (I actually *just* wrote a scene about them missing Percy before Bill's wedding!) and the Neville/Ginny one. I loved getting a peek into the workings of the D.A. during the war - drawing a comparison between Neville writing a letter and Percy writing a letter was a stroke of genius. And you got Ginny's resistance down just right. Oh, and of course, the last scene was the perfect emotional gut punch to tie it all together. Lovely story! Thank you for sharing :)

This is such an emotional story, and I have to admit I actually cried a lot at the very last part when George was speaking. Loved it.

This is sooooooooooo off topic, but at the beginning, when Arthur was leaving Perkins and the office, I kept thinking he'd say something like, "Well, don't be too sad. I'll be back just as soon as Ron and his two best friends kill Voldemort."

Great story. I mean really great. I always thought of Percy as the power-hungry Weasley brother that emotionlessly kicked himself out of the family. But this story shows that he misses his family and regrets how he talked to Mr. Weasley. In the books, he made up by giving the minister of magic boils all over. But in the fanfic, he made up by getting emotional with his family over the loss of Fred. It's a nice accessory to the series. So really. Great story.

This is such an emotional and touching piece. I don't usually leave reviews, but god this made me cry. I've never really connected to Percy or considered his point of view in the fight, but your story has really made me see it differently and appreciate Percy more. I love the parallel between Ron and Percy, and the thing with the letter. Little details so that you know he really does care. Anyway, before I start rambling on, I wanted to say that of the ones I've read so far, I love your stories and the different perspectives and new lights they cast, so please, please keep writing :)
