wow i loved it. emma's dream sequence is surreal. just like watching a phychedelic movie. i liked most emma's connection with the ship, telling her about the past and connecting her with the present and hook

I saw this fic recommended on Tumblr and I'm so glad I did! Its a wonderfully evocative story, full of fantastic imagery. I LOVE the idea that the JR is enchanted to the point where it can and does talk. Is it Milah, I wonder, trapped within the wood, whispering words to Killian and Emma both? This is a ship that holds a lot of secrets within its wood. A lot of secrets and a lot of sadness and I think that you captured this wonderfully here. Hook's story is so tragic and I think that's showcased to wonderful effect here; how awful to be alone for so long! And Emma's dreams ... boy! I wouldn't want to have dreams like that!
