That was amazing- and don't worry, the title fits. I like that you remembered that Gilan had only his father, and that you decided to add onto his family. And the book was a good inclusion.

This was great, honestly. You captured the characters' emotions perfectly, with awesome word choice and flow (as always). Excuse me if i sound a little awkward, as I'm not one to usually review, and I only do so when reading the 'diamonds in the rough' type fics.

And this, my friend, is one of those diamonds. And a perfect start to my morning at that.
