Damn, after browsing Tekken fics and wondering why this story seemed so familiar, then I remembered reading both your Bryan fics years ago, loved them both but being the ghost I always liked to be on this site, I never reviewed to give compliments. Looking back there's a lot a stories I should've put in a few good words on. I guess I felt awkward about it or something, lol.

Anyhow, figured I'd do that now, especially since I may end up rereading them at some point. Fun Bryan stories are kind of short supply, though I understand why given how little is known of his character beyond him being former military, former cop and a former/maybe still zombie upgraded to killing machine. That and he's not exactly as beloved as the Jin and others, also for obvious reasons.

Honestly, pairing Bryan with any of the Tekken ladies would be a barrel of fun, though there's probably one or two he'd have to resist the urge to strangle with how frustrating they can be, lol.

Holy hell. I forgot all about this fic after you went on your initial long hiatus, and I mustn't have clicked the follow button because I never got updates on it and assumed it was abandoned. Only just started playing Tekken again and once Bryan was on screen, it clicked and I came here to look up fics I was interested in back when.

So sorry I wasn't around in that time to review, something I do rarely as it is. Trust me, I get how demotivating it is when there is so little feedback or reviews. But big respect to you for finishing it. If it means anything at this point, I really enjoyed reading it. I enjoyed it just as much as its prequel.

Best of luck with whatever your next project is, and that last reviewer is right. Write for your own enjoyment, having fans and reviewers is good, true, especially the ones who offer genuine constructive critique, but they can also distort your vision of your project so that it deviates from the original vision. I guess it's all about the balance. I never was able to achieve that balance and so pretty much gave up writing fics and anything else for that matter.

Well, I finally finished reading this and I must say that I really enjoyed. Thank you for having the drive and determination to finish your project, I know how difficult that can be and how easy it is to just give up on something. It really is too bad that a well thought out, well written story doesn't get that much feedback, I know it's discouraging, but in the end you should write for you if it makes you happy...I know, easier said than done.
I understand how much research you must have done to write something like this and I really appreciate it. Sometimes you can get lost in google for an hour researching the name of a weapon and how it's used just so you can get one sentence that sounds right.
I must say what I enjoyed the most about your story is the way you made the characters human. They all had their flaws and were pretty awful human beings but you made me sympathize with each of them on some level. I really, really enjoyed reading Bryan's dialogue, it was very entertaining. I also appreciate your ability to describe the setting, it actually inspired me to focus on that when I write, sometimes I feel like my characters are walking around in a blank canvass.
I would love to read your other fanfiction, I will get around to it eventually, hopefully soon because now that I'm done with this one I really need something else to read. Anyway, I hope you don't let the lack of reviews influence how you feel about writing. Remember that the only way to get better is to keep writing and actually fanfiction is the perfect medium to practice, it already has the characters and setting done. I'd love to see more from you in the future. Don't give up!

Lee's pissed...guess I can't blame him, poor guy, nothing ever goes his way. I love that Dragunov is part of the crew. One more chapter to go!

Nothing makes a character more human than having them come to terms with their mortality, I really liked Nina's thoughts when she was with DJ, I think you did a great job there. And, go Anna! I think the interactions between her and Dragunov are cute. Again, nice job on the action.

Great cliffhanger! Again, I must say that I love the way you've written Bryan. I like the how you describe the action, it's easy to imagine the scene.

I really like how you make all the characters deeply flawed but you still leave some room for us to sympathize with them on some level. Getting closer to the end, which is too bad because I really enjoy reading it. Oh, I also wanted to say that I liked the "war is a business" quote, so sad and so true. Someone always finds a way to benefit from chaos and tragedy.

Well done! Loved the Bryan/Nina interactions, it's sad about Anna feeling so alone. I really appreciate the humor in Bryan's characters, great chapter!

Great chapter! Creepy, awkward, suspenseful, loved it! Things between Bryan and Anna are certainly interesting, and what's Lee going to do?!

Loved the change of perspective in this chapter, very interesting, I liked the dynamic between Nina and Dragunav. I wonder if there will be any betrayals coming up.

Another great chapter! Good job making Bryan into a person, though I don't know how I really feel about that, if I ever decide to use him as a bad guy I'm just going to keep feeling bad for him. Anyway, again great job.

I really, really liked this chapter. At first I didn't really see Lee committing such questionable actions but it makes sense, he was raised by father of the year Heihach Mishima. It's sweet that Bryan is doing so much to protect Anna.

Looks like there's going to be trouble in the next chapter, you might call this fluff, but I see it as a nice set up. I love the sweet Bryan/Anna moments here, also the "she's too homely" line was pretty funny.

I'm really happy that I've found this fic and even happier to see that it's complete. I've been away from fanfiction for a few years and just got back into it in the last few weeks, I'm glad to see that there are still writers who put forth quality stories. Lee is one of my favorite tekken characters, Bryan and Anna not so much but you're doing such a great job that I'm really enjoying them. I don't get much free time so it might be a few days before I finish reading this, but I just wanted to stop and say great job before I keep going.
