I like how the reason as to why the alchemists are at Hogwarts is only hinted at; for a oneshot of this size, a thorough explanation would only detract from the plot. I think there could have been more interaction between the various characters, but at the same time, it's too much like those particular Amestrians to keep to themselves. There is also an issue I have that is common through fanfiction, and especially, I've noticed, the Harry Potter fandom. There are too many excerpts from the book that could have been rewritten in your own worlds. Not an overt amount, but I am of the opinion that only the dialogue should be directly quoted when rewriting a scene
