You've been so kindly reviewing my stories so I'm returning the favor. This is the first one of yours I read and it really is terrific. You've done such a good job of capturing the stages of grief - the denial, the anger, the acceptance. I hadn't really thought much about how angry John would be after the suicide, but you make an excellent point about Sherlock making him watch, which, for John's perspective, would seem needlessly cruel. Great job.
